Why microcement for stairs
Microcement is a thin decorative coating – just 2–3 mm – applied by hand in several layers and then sealed. The steps get the same seamless look as the floors.
One with the floor
The stairs are in the same material and colour as the floors – no joints, for a unified look.
Durable
The final sealing protects the steps from wear, stains and moisture.
No demolition
Applied over the existing steps – concrete, cement screed or firmly bonded tiles.
Colour and finish of choice
Smooth or textured finish in a colour from the catalogue or matched to a sample.

Microcement stairs questions
Can microcement be applied over tiled stairs?
Yes, as long as the tiles are firmly bonded. We clean them, fill the grout lines and prime, then apply the microcement – no demolition and no construction waste.
Are microcement stairs slippery?
On request, the finishing varnish can have an anti-slip effect. We will show you samples during the site visit.
How is the price of stairs calculated?
Per linear metre – the sum of the widths of all steps. For example, 14 steps of 1 m are 14 lin. m × €150 = €2,100.
Can the stairs match the colour of the floor?
Yes. We use the same material and colour, so the stairs and the floor look like one continuous surface.
How long does the application take?
It depends on the number of steps and the condition of the base. Each layer needs time to dry, so you get an exact schedule after the site visit.
